- The AI Booth Experience is Mr. Booth's generative AI photo booth, also called an AI photo booth rental, AI portrait booth, AI transformation booth, or AI photo experience. A live booth that transforms every guest into a magazine cover, film still, Renaissance portrait, action figure, superhero, anime character, or anything else we design for your event.
- How does the AI Booth Experience work?
- Step up to the booth, enter your name or any custom field, pick your transformation. The camera fires. AI processes the photo on-site, sends both the original and the transformed image to your phone. Guests can share and walk away, the photo finds them when it's ready.
- What are the three AI Booth modes?
- Single Shot: one guest, one transformation. Group Shot: up to 5 guests in the same scene together. Brand Shot: your company's logo and brand colours woven into the AI image, so guests in race car uniforms wear your colours and your logo lands on the helmet. Built for corporate events, conferences, weddings, brand activations, and trade shows.
- How does the Brand Shot mode incorporate our company branding?
- Mr. Booth uploads your logo and brand assets into the AI software with positive and negative prompts. The AI weaves your logo INTO the scene (not just overlay) and matches brand colours across uniforms, props, and scene elements. Not 100% guaranteed but holds rather strictly.
- How many AI looks does the AI Booth offer?
- 80+ pre-built AI transformations ready to run from Mr. Booth's curated library. Want something custom? Mr. Booth's design team builds bespoke AI prompts for your event, with 3 to 5 hours of testing per prompt to dial it in. Custom prompts need 2 weeks minimum lead time.
- Does the AI work for everyone — different skin tones, glasses, beards, kids?
- The AI is built to work for any skin tone, beard, glasses, hair style, or kids of any age. The software is tuned for inclusivity across the board. That said, AI is AI and can be somewhat unpredictable, which is part of the fun.
- How fast does the AI Booth process each photo?
- Single Shot transformations land between 10 seconds and 90 seconds, usually about a minute. Group Shots take 2 to 3 minutes because the AI is processing more people in one scene. Honest framing: it's AI, so sometimes it does its own thing.
- What happens if the AI Booth is slow or fails mid-event?
- AI speed depends on global processing, mostly Google. If the worldwide AI is slow, ours is too. Guests enter their details at the booth and walk away. If the photo doesn't arrive within 5 minutes, they come back and we capture another shot.
- What if a guest doesn't love their AI photo?
- Every guest can approach the booth attendant and ask for a redo. Mr. Booth opens the gallery back-end, hits a redo button, and the photo regenerates automatically and sends to their phone without them stepping back into the booth. The AI is meant to generate laughter, but every guest gets a re-roll on demand.
- How does Mr. Booth handle inappropriate AI outputs?
- Mr. Booth builds negative prompts into the AI software to filter inappropriate outputs like low-cut shirts, NSFW elements, or off-brand results. No system is 100% guaranteed. If something slips through, the attendant deletes the photo, captures a new shot, and moves on. Positive prompts also enhance natural features lightly so most guests love the result.
- Do guests get the original photo or the AI version?
- Every guest gets both the original photo and the AI-transformed image delivered to their phone via text, email, or QR code. They pick which one to share with friends, post to social, or keep as the keepsake. No one is locked into the AI version if they prefer the original.
- What happens to guests' AI photos after the event?
- AI photos are stored on secure US-based cloud servers for up to 2 years for gallery access, then deleted or anonymized. Mr. Booth is the data controller under a Data Processing Agreement with the AI software provider. Guests can request deletion anytime through Mr. Booth. GDPR-aligned.
- Can the AI Booth print photos on-site?
- Yes, on-site printing is available as an add-on. AI transformation to printer takes about 2 minutes total. One AI photo per print, on any standard size (4×6, 5×7, 8×6). Clients pick the digital AI booth path or the digital print booth path before the event.
- Can the AI photos display live on a TV at our venue?
- Yes. Mr. Booth provides a live gallery link that displays AI photos in real time on any venue TV or screen. The gallery view can be branded with your logo, event name, and colours. Pulls a queue and doubles as event decor.
- How much space does the AI Booth Experience need?
- Minimum 10×12 foot footprint, 10×16 preferred. The booth is attended at all times by a Mr. Booth professional. Plugs into a standard wall outlet. Mr. Booth brings the internet via our own SIM-card hotspot. Indoor or outdoor possible. Fits hotel ballrooms, gala spaces, distillery rooms, and corporate venues across Greater Victoria.
